Summer Collection 2019
Summer is just around the corner so we recently welcomed our new Summer designs for 2019! Featuring fresh citrus fruits, sea life and our favourite florals. Summer is the time of year when everything comes to life, so we want our collection to be a celebration of it.
The vibe we aimed to create across the range is bold, vibrant and joyful. At Dessi Designs we are creating beautiful items that bring happiness to your daily life.
All designs are illustrated by hand, then painted using watercolours to create a beautiful colour-blending and visual texture, a signature you can see in almost all of our original designs.
Fruity designs:
For our fruity artwork, we drew inspiration from the 80s fashion and pop culture by adding vibrant background but making more sophisticated. We used colours from pretty pinks, sky blues and even the pantone colour of the year – living coral, to contrast the fruity patterns. Fresh, vivid and the perfect blend with the upcoming summer.
The Sea-Life designs:
These beautifully illustrated designs are inspired by tropical sea life, featuring cute sea turtles, beautiful betta fish and dainty marine life. We have used aquatic colour pallets with vibrant elements to create contrast.
The Floral Designs:
Many of our designs are based on florals. However, for this summer season we wanted to create some more colourful and bolder patterns. The techniques used are mixed, using hand illustrated flowers, mixed with graphical leaves. Bright background colours add to the strong visual look.
