Shipping & Orders

Where does Dessi Designs ship from?

All orders are printed and shipped from my small UK studio.

How long does delivery take after I place an order?

Each order is made to order so please allow 2–5 business days for production. UK shipping usually takes 1–2 working days after dispatch. International delivery times are 10–15 working days. Occasionally, orders may take a little longer during busy periods such as holidays. Producing each order this way helps reduce waste and create a truly unique product for you.

Can I change or update my order after placing it?

Absolutely! Email us within 24 hours at store@dessi-designs.co.uk with your order number and your requested changes. We’re happy to help if your order hasn’t been shipped yet.

My order hasn’t arrived yet—what should I do?

Most orders arrive within the stated delivery times (1-2 working days for the UK, 10–15 working days internationally), but delays can happen due to customs or busy seasons. If your order hasn’t arrived within 7 days of the expected delivery date, contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.

What material are Dessi Designs phone cases made from?

Dessi Designs phone cases are available in both slim hard plastic and Tough dual-layer styles. Our hard cases are lightweight and made from durable hard plastic that won’t yellow over time like many soft gel cases. Our Tough cases combine a shock-absorbing inner TPU layer with a durable hard outer shell for extra everyday protection.

What material are Dessi Designs MacBook cases made from?

Our MacBook cases are made from lightweight hard plastic, that protects your laptop without adding bulk.

What material are Dessi Designs Desk Mats made from?

Our cute desk mats are made from a smooth, durable fabric designed for easy mouse movement and everyday use. Each mat features stitched edges to help prevent fraying and ensure long-lasting quality. They also double as a keyboard mat, helping protect your desk from scratches and spills while adding a soft, aesthetic touch to your workspace.

Will the print fade or scratch over time?

The artwork is printed using durable inks designed to stay vibrant with everyday use, wether you choose a hard phone case or a tough one, a MacBook case or a desk mat the print won't fade or peel. As with any printed product, avoiding harsh chemicals and rough surfaces will help keep your case looking its best.

What is the difference between your Tough Phone Cases and Hard Plastic Cases?

Dessi Designs Tough Phone Cases feature dual-layer protection with a shock-absorbing inner layer and durable outer shell for extra protection.

Our Hard Plastic Cases are slimmer and lighter while still offering everyday scratch protection.

Are Dessi Designs phone cases heavy or bulky?

No! Our cases are designed to be lightweight and slim, adding minimal bulk or weight while offering sturdy protection.

Are the sides of Dessi Designs phone cases printed?

The hard phone cases are printed using high-quality UV printing for vibrant, long-lasting colour. The sides remain clear due to the printing process, giving a seamless minimal look. On some curved phone models, you may notice slight fading near the edges where the design wraps around.

The Tough phone case use a different printing process where the design is transferred onto the case using heat. The pretty artwork wraps around all sides, ensuring that the phone looks great from every angle.

Do your clear phone cases turn yellow?

No — unlike many soft TPU clear cases, our hard plastic cases are designed to stay crystal clear over time.

Do Dessi Designs hard phone cases support wireless charging?

Yes — all Dessi Designs phone cases support wireless charging.
The hard plastic cases are lightweight and work with magnetic wireless charging.

Are Dessi Designs Tough Phone Cases MagSafe compatible?

Yes — MagSafe compatibility is included automatically on supported iPhone models (iPhone 12 mini and newer) and some Samsung Galaxy models (S22 and newer). The built-in magnetic ring helps strengthen magnetic charging through the dual-layer protection.

Do your MacBook cases affect charging or ports?

No — our MacBook cases are designed with precise cut-outs and easy access to all ports, including MagSafe charging ports on compatible MacBooks.

Do your MacBook cases cause overheating?

No, Dessi Designs hard MacBook cases include ventilation gaps underneath to help support airflow during everyday use.

Are your MacBook cases lightweight?

Yes — our MacBook cases are designed to stay slim and lightweight while protecting your laptop from scratches and everyday wear.

Can I still fully open my laptop with the case on?

Yes — the cases are designed to allow full opening and normal laptop movement without restriction.

How do I find the correct MacBook model for my case?

To make sure your MacBook case fits perfectly, check the underside of your laptop for the model number starting with the letter “A” followed by four digits (for example: A2338).

Yes — we can offer custom-sized desk mats upon request. If you need a specific size for your workspace, desk setup, or aesthetic layout, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

How thick are Dessi Designs desk mats?

Our desk mats are approximately 2mm thick as standard, offering a smooth surface for mouse movement while keeping your workspace comfortable and lightweight. Alternative thickness options may be available on request.

Do desk mats stay flat on the desk?

Yes — our desk mats are designed to lay flat on your desk surface. The smooth fabric top and anti-slip base help keep them stable during everyday use.

Are Dessi Designs desk mats suitable for gaming or work?

Yes — our desk mats are suitable for both work and gaming setups. The smooth surface allows accurate mouse movement, making them practical for everyday use while still adding a decorative aesthetic.

Are your products printed in-house?

Every Dessi Designs product starts as original artwork created by me in my studio. Some products, including selected phone cases and MacBook cases, are printed and prepared in-house, while others are produced through carefully chosen production partners to ensure the best possible quality and finish across different product types.

Will my product look exactly like the photos?

We do our best to ensure colours and details appear as accurately as possible. However, slight differences may occur depending on screen settings and device models, also between different printing methods. Because every item is made to order, small placement variations can occasionally happen and are part of what makes each piece unique.

Payments

What payment methods are accepted at Dessi Designs?

We accept PayPal, credit and debit cards (no PayPal account required), Apple Pay, and Google Pay and Shop Pay. We also accept USDC. All payments are securely processed, and your order is only completed once payment is confirmed.
